The Role  

As an Analytics Lead, you will be the go-to person for internal and external stakeholders on all issues related to the implementation of data collection tags on websites and applications. This includes web analytics, media tracking and marketing technology implementations, audits and quality assurance, as well as providing technical support and managing client relationships.

You will have the responsibility of creating analytics and media tracking specifications and assisting with the entire implementation process. Your expertise, analytical and project management skills will allow you to be autonomous in your daily operations and customer communications whilst supporting the rest of the team.

As the Analytics Lead you will also manage & mentor Jr and Sr Tracking Specialists. This entails ensuring they are properly supported during project execution as well as working closely with them to increase their skills.

Responsibilities

Within your first year you will be taking on the following core tasks and responsibilities, amongst others:

  • Deliver high quality outcomes for a variety of missions in the space of Ad Tech and Web Analytics, working in a client-facing position, supported by a team of technical specialists
  • Meet client’s requirements within the agreed deadlines, keep track of the necessary tasks for each mission where you are deployed and liaise with the relevant owners internally and externally; foresee and escalate issues / risks as appropriate
  • Develop a sharp operational expertise about web analytics and media-buy topics
  • Occasional travel possible, when safe to do so, abroad to international locations
  • Lead and manage project teams; set the standard on deliverable quality; ensure processes and best practices are followed
  • Leverage Digital expertise: ability to analyze and optimize digital activities around the cross-channel customer journey (media, general audience analysis, acquisition, engagement, conversion, retention)

Experience Required

  • Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving skills
  • Organizational and project management skills (organization of meetings, managing deadlines and client relationships)
  • 2 – 3 years of experience with tag management tools such as Google Tag Manager, Tealium, or Adobe Launch
  • 2 – 3 years of experience implementing and maintaining digital analytics platforms such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics
  • Knowledge of the marketing technology stack (ideally Google Marketing Platform)
  • Ability to communicate and translate technical issues into simplified language
  • Confidence when working with cross-functional external and internal teams
  • Ability to read/write JavaScript
  • Ability to create documentations with technical specifications
  • Knowledge of fundamental web concepts (HTML/CSS)
  • Very good written and oral communication
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
