OVERVIEW

We are looking for a Tools Support Manager to join the team of our client, one of the world’s largest media agencies. This role requires a maths-based degree with interest in marketing topics, along with a desire to learn about methods of analysing communication and the techniques of media planning. This approach uses leading-edge analytics applied to real-world client data to optimise investment and increase Return on Investment.

Competencies/ Job Role

The Tools Support Manager will support and work closely with the Head of Development and Product Director and doing the following: 

  • Advising Local, Worldwide and Regional teams in the best approach to using the company’s  tools
  • Delivery technical training, online, to global teams
  • Liaise with the Tech Team regarding testing, documentation, and implementation of requirements
  • Collaboration with colleagues in the construction of training and support plans
  • Customer support point for internal queries regarding the usage of tools and solutions
  • Development of user guides, case studies and presentational materials
  • Cooperate with other business units’ analysts
  • Source syndicated and public data for inclusion in models

Knowledge and Attributes required 

  • Degree level education: maths, economics or statistics (or science subjects also suitable depending on numeracy)
  • Willingness to learn company tools and solutions
  • Interest to learn about marketing effectiveness
  • A curious nature with the desire to get under the skin of a problem
  • Methodical and logical with an extreme eye for detail
  • Awareness of legal and data protection issues

Other Responsibilities

  • Understand the detail of installation and usage of the company’s global tools
  • Oversee installation of Business Planning software and tools
  • Configures the software to users’ needs
  • Supports Programme Director to maintain a central repository of tools and solutions
  • Pitch and ad hoc project support that requires the Manager to run the tools on behalf of others
