OVERVIEW

Overview:

My client provides advanced analytics, digital platform enablement, architected data solutions, and end-to-end relationship marketing services to more than 100 clients across a wide range of verticals. Their rapidly growing digital analytics team is searching for a new member who has experience in the development of data collection, data technologies, and platform integrations. Candidate must have web development experience using modern methods for configuring and optimizing implementations using tag management systems such as Adobe Launch/DTM, Google Tag Manager, and Tealium. 

Since their digital analytics team sits at the forefront of an ever-evolving digital landscape, team members are equal parts left-brained and right-brained – able to solve complex technical problems with creative, scalable solutions. As a digital analyst, you will work directly with clients and other internal team members and, like all team members, you will need to be detail-oriented, adaptable, resourceful, and curious.

Responsibilities

  • Manage large-scale, high visibility projects independently and with other team members
  • Architect and develop key implementation requirement documents, emphasizing a big-picture approach to designing a measurement strategy to support clients’ business objectives
  • Manage the configuration, implementation, and maintenance of web analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics
  • Manage configuration, implementation, and maintenance of digital marketing pixels to support media campaigns
  • Enhance data collection capabilities through collaboration with internal and external teams
  • Apply industry best practices in terms of analytics implementations and development
  • Work closely with client marketing teams to define business requirements and measurement objectives
  • Work closely with client IT or development teams to audit tracking implementation, troubleshoot issues, and validate that the data being collected meets business requirements
  • Evaluate and recommend new tools or platforms for clients to support evolving business needs
  • Develop strategy, manage implementation, and report on the performance of digital optimization programs (CRO, testing, personalization)
  • Mentor junior analysts to help foster a continuous learning environment
  • You will report directly to the Digital Analytics Director and will oversee and manage junior analysts and interns

 

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in analytics development or implementation, architecture and data quality
  • Expert knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
  • 5+ years of experience in one or more tag management systems – Adobe Launch/DTM, Google Tag Manager, Tealium, or Ensighten
  • Experience in developing A/B tests through platforms such as Adobe Target or Google Optimize
  • 5+ years of experience directly involved in end-to-end web analytics implementations
  • Strong communication skills and a high degree of comfort communicating with clients to help bridge the gap between technology and business stakeholders
  • Experience managing and maintaining digital marketing pixels across multiple clients through various tag management systems
  • Excellent debugging and troubleshooting through tools such as DevTools, Charles, Fiddler, ObservePoint, etc.
  • Advocate for data quality; perform quality control on new and existing implementations using manual QC processes or tools such as ObservePoint
  • Familiarity with API development, utilization, and use cases
  • Experience with designing, architecting, and validating data layers
  • Enthusiastic about providing guidance and coaching to other team members
  • A positive, service-oriented approach to work

 

Preferred Experience

  • Knowledge of one or more JavaScript frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular
  • Knowledge of content management systems such as WordPress, SiteCore, Adobe Experience Manager, Shopify, etc.
  • Experience with mobile app analytics implementation, and understanding of mobile software development kit
  • Experience with automated data validation tools such as ObservePoint
  • Adobe Certified Expert in one or more Adobe Solutions
