My client is a consultancy based in Central London with offices all over the world, they have been running for over 8 years now and was founded by a few Google executives. Their head office is in Paris and also are based in Shanghai and Hong Kong, they are a highly innovative and forward-thinking company that is also opening an up to two new offices. 

The Opportunity

The role of the Analytics Specialist is to be a subject matter expert in all things related to web analytics deployment and practice, from reporting to activation of the data primarily on owned digital assets (website, mobile apps, CRM). As part of the fifty-five Expertise and Innovation division, you will work with both our engineers (front-end & cloud) and our consulting team, particularly in the context of solution design, prototyping and methodology design & delivery.

The Expertise and Innovation Specialist leads the development of data-led analytics deployment for our clients, and ensures that all of the features and benefits of the tech is enabled to maximize our clients’ investment in their tools. 

This Analytics E&I (Expertise and Innovation) Specialist role is responsible for researching the range of analytics solutions in the market and advising in-house teams and clients on the correct strategy for implementing and deploying the ideal configuration, depending on the client’s objectives and requirements. The candidate will be expected to have specialist skills and knowledge in delivering analytics solutions for the efficient deployment of tracking strategies on web and mobile client properties. 

The role is part of the Expertise and Innovation division, a team of highly advanced Analytics & Insights experts who have responsibility for propagating best practice in our group, for understanding the strengths and weaknesses of the leading tools in the market, and for shaping fifty-five’s differentiated positioning in a constantly changing Analytics, AdTech and MarTech environment.

Summary of responsibilities:

Delivery

  • Primary stakeholder for analytics & martech deployment projects
    • evaluation of business & technical requirements
    • measurement plan creation
    • supervision of delivery
  • Support the technical solution design for data consulting projects
    • use case definition
    • architecture design
    • regulatory compliance
    • solution deployment

Expertise

  • Researching advances in analytics, martech and adtech world & keeping the team up to date
  • Designing & delivering internal and external training sessions 
  • Ensuring best-practice deployment by setting and facilitating the use of 55 frameworks

Business Development

  • Acting as a pre-sales engineer for enterprise-level data consulting projects
  • Supporting business development for proprietary & licenced (primarily Google Analytics 360) analytics solutions

Experience and skills required:

  • 3-5 years technical Analytics & Insights experience
  • Hands-on experience in end-to-end web & app analytics deployment
    • Familiarity with front-end programming languages (JavaScript) is required
    • Familiarity with tag management systems (GTM, Tealium) is required
    • Enterprise-level Google Analytics 360 deployment experience is required
    • Advanced Adobe Analytics deployment experience is desirable
  • Knowledge of reporting automation solutions
    • Having designed, created and automated at least one set of marketing/product reports is required
    • Experience in developing API-based solutions is desirable
    • Experience using Google Cloud Platform and SQL & Python is desirable
  • Interest in problem-solving and finding new solutions
  • Good understanding of tech & digital industry
    • Familiarity with modern audience management tools (such as CDPs) is desirable

Impressive Salary

£45,000 – £55,000 plus benefits
