About the Role

The Analytics & Optimization Manager will play a key role in implementing Google Analytics 4 for a portfolio of clients.

My client is looking for a passionate subject matter expert on digital measurement and web analysis (inc. web analytics, app tracking, audience strategy, incremental revenue). The Analytics & Optimization Manager possesses a strong understanding of the media ecosystem as it relates to measurement – particularly GMP and mainstream optimization and personalization platforms.

Focusing on Google Analytics 4 measurement tracking implementation, specifically for dual setups, the Analytics Manager will be comfortable with implementing through Google Tag Manager primarily. Experience with other tag management tools in addition to Google Tag Manager is a plus.

Knowledge and experience with recent Google technologies and tools such as Google Analytics 4, Google Analytics for Firebase and what were App+Web properties is a must.

Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for interpreting the client data measurement strategy into an implementation plan for assigned accounts 
  • Work closely with the Client Services and Project Management teams to define and run the planned projects and to communicate the strategy and progress
  • Liaising closely with your analytics colleagues to improve efficiency and quality of the work
  • Implement GA 4 in line with your client’s measurement strategy and implementation plan
  • Provide suggestions and feedback to your colleagues and Capability Lead as to how the process could be improved

What You’ll Need

  • Demonstrable experience with Google Analytics, Google Analytics 4 and GTM, for both web and app implementations
  • Strong analytical and visual thinking skills, with the ability to identify business questions, pain points and opportunities and to prioritize findings
  • Deep, hands-on experience working with analytics solutions, ranging from auditing, campaign ideation, definition, setup, launch and reporting, measurement implementations and data analysis & insights
  • Experience with implementing eCommerce measurement is required
  • Must have a solid understanding of Google Marketing Platform, the key benefits and how to leverage the Google stack and its integrations to the greatest advantage of clients
  • Ability to clearly communicate processes, strategies and general requirements to stakeholders
  • Able to manage projects to ensure that all deliverables are as per Jellyfish standards and deadlines are met
