OVERVIEW

My client is one of the leading digital marketing agencies in Europe who have built their reputation on a foundation of genuine enthusiasm for data. Their mission is to raise the performance of data-driven marketing and they do this by applying deep product knowledge, data science and proprietary technology.

They are always evolving, stay agile & really push the boundaries of digital impact. You can be sure that they do whatever it takes to help their clients triumph online.

Role Overview

You’ll lead a small team of specialists, guiding them in their development within their field, and collaborating to deliver the highest quality of work. • Manager for Analytics Specialists in the team
  • Build the culture of the team and take responsibility for the successful delivery of analytics hub projects
  • Develop our clients’ data infrastructure and strategy
  • End-to-end technical ownership of complex analytics projects (requirements gathering, technical execution, and stakeholder management)
  • Proactively identify new opportunities for clients to use data or measurement solutions to drive value
  • Develop the product and technical competence of Precis and the team

Key qualifications

Essential

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent practical experience in a quantitative field
  • Experience working with and implementing Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager for web and apps
  • Experience integrating web analytics with CRM/BI data

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Comfortable with the fundamentals of relevant web technologies (Javascript, cookies, HTTP requests, etc)

Desirable

  • Knowledge of database languages (e.g. SQL) and scripting languages (e.g. Python)
  • Experience as direct people manager

Salary

The salary band for this role is £40,000-£65,000 as my client is also open to candidates who have not been a manager in their previous positions but are looking to take that step, rather than having someone who’s only been focusing managerial responsibilities the last few years
