My client also powers political, construction and environmental intelligence brands and are doing some really exciting things following a recent transformation.

Role overview 

  • Designing, implementing, and optimising high performing Marketing Automation initiatives for the client’s portfolio of market-leading brands. 
  • You will be passionate about delivering joined up, immersive experiences via Marketing Automation, executed via a team of Marketing Automation specialists through an enterprise Technology stack.
  • MA technical skills, line management and stakeholder management skills are vital. 
  • Coordinating development projects and BAU activity with external delivery partners to support the overall objectives and the newly formed team.
  • Driving demonstrable CX & commercial change across the client’s portfolio of brands through expert Marketing Automation knowledge.
  • Collaborate with in-brand Marketing leads to define customer experiences that deliver a genuine value exchange.
  • The role will interface with the central product and content teams as well as partnering with in-brand design teams. 
  • Articulate MA requirements succinctly & in a structured manner, with appropriate Functional, Non-Functional and Technical requirements to support integration between core product delivery and Marketing Automation to enhance the customer’s experience and value.
  • Technical hands-on experience as a Marketo or Marketing Automation admin is very important, there are many people on the market who can discuss MA theory, we need an MA practitioner who can demonstrably take non-specialists along with them on the journey. 
  • Work closely with the Marketing Operations Team to ensure successful delivery of the brand MA initiatives, while partnering with the performance team to ensure end to end campaign design and execution. 

Skills & Experience Required 

  • 4 years’ Marketing Automation experience, ideally with some of that experience spent as a Marketing Automation Admin
  • A Marketo Certified Expert credential is highly desirable, will also consider candidates with strong Eloqua experience
  • Intermediate web analytics experience (preferably Google Analytics & Google Tag Manager)
  • Experience with the following is desirable: Salesforce, HTML, CSS, & JavaScript
  • A problem solver, solution orientated
  • Strong knowledge of Digital Marketing and a user needs-based approach to designing and optimising customer journeys
  • Understands the big picture, doesn’t see MA as execution only but as a strategic pillar of a successful customer driven Marketing approach. 
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and management skills
  • Must have demonstrable end to end cross channel, social, mobile and onsite, MA experience (candidates with an email only background will not be considered.)
  • Experience of designing implementing and refining complex customer journeys
  • Previous Digital Operations experience would be a significant advantage
  • Understanding of CRM techniques and strategies in an omnichannel age. 

Impressive Salary

up to 60,000 plus benefits
