Role overview 

Your role here as a Senior Analytics and Optimization Manager would be to join the Data and Planning team, a broad diverse group of individuals encompassing brand, data and media panners, analysts, data scientists and email specialists as well as being part of the wider global data and insight’s function spanning hundreds of skilled individuals. 

Everyone he has the same goal of using data expertise to inspire clients, partners and to jointly execute best in class marketing fuelled by data rich insights. 

Your typical day to day will involve managing multiple campaign projects and to be seens as the team’s first port of call for day-to-day planning enquiries. 

Responsibilities 

  • Define a measurement framework that is reflective of the account strategies by identify the proper data sources and KPI’s aligned business goals and illustrate campaign effectiveness
  • Evaluate various attribution modelling techniques and methodologies including DDA models from campaign manager, Google Analytics, Facebook, Attribution 
  • Evaluate customer journeys and data signals across the customer lifecycle that will inform audience targeting and media fighting
  • Define and manage audiences that can be shared across Jellyfish partner and client ecosystem (e.g. Google, Facebook, LiveRamp, Salesforce, Segment)
  • Plan measurement proposals to evaluate and refine activity, including test and learn, conversion lift studies and deeper analysis
  • Design and create data visualizations for marketing performance data
  • Identify opportunity to solve recurring client challenges and innovate the product portfolio
  • Mentor junior members of the team

Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, both web and apps, is required
  • Demonstrable experience with Google Optimize and/or other mainstream web & app Optimization and Personalization platforms (eg. Adobe Target, Evergage, Dynamic Yield, Monetate, Leanplum, Tune, Optimizely, Qubit, etc.)
  • Must have a fluent understanding of Google Marketing Platform, the key benefits and how to leverage the Google stack to the greatest advantage of clients
  • Deep, hands-on experience working with analytics and experience optimization solutions, ranging from auditing, campaign ideation, definition, setup, launch and reporting, measurement implementations, data analysis & insights, in-housing, presenting to large audiences and training
  • Strong experience in unearthing insights and forming optimization recommendations using heat-mapping, form analytics and live user testing
  • Experience with persona based marketing, UX methodologies and a good visual eye to detect what works well (and what doesn’t) in a brand’s journey
  • Strong analytical and visual thinking skills, with the ability to identify business questions, pain points and opportunities, analyse quantitative and qualitative data, prioritize findings using different models , and develop actionable recommendations and experimentation/personalisation roadmaps
  • Ability to clearly communicate processes, strategies and general requirements to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Able to manage projects and delegate seamlessly across multiple teams and regions, to ensure that all deliverables are as per Jellyfish standards and deadlines are met
  • Able to stay positive under pressure, teamwork with a diverse set of stakeholders and live Jellyfish’s values: be positive, be the solution, be passionate, be accountable, be you

Advantageous

  • Proficiency with Python/R or other scripting languages is highly desirable
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform and BigQuery, ability to query large databases and write SQL queries
  • Experience with (and positive results from) running campaigns on other web and app experience optimization / personalization platforms besides Google Optimize 360 would be highly desirable
  • Knowledge and experience with recent Google technologies and tools such as Google Analytics for Firebase, App+Web properties and Google Ads Data Hub is a very big plus
  • Knowledge and experience with Machine Learning principles and Marketing theory is a big plus
  • Knowledge and experience with advanced segmentation analysis, session playback, lo-fi wireframing, treejacking, designing polls and surveys will be a big plus
  • Nice to have experience with the following: Adobe Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Segment, Tableau and Looker
