OVERVIEW

Digital Republic seeks a Senior Ecommerce Analyst for a renowned promotion agency who are in the process of growing their analytics team. As a  key member of the team, you will play the role of business analyst to identify and communicate actionable ecommerce insights for the site to deliver incremental revenue to the business. You will use data to help define retention, conversion testing and acquisition strategies. 

Key Senior Ecommerce Analyst tasks:

  • Identify and communicate actionable insights to improve conversion and retention to drive incremental revenue 
  • Conduct customer journey analysis, product analysis, audience segmentation, and funnel analysis for the various websites 
  • Identify personas to build personalisation strategies that deliver incremental revenue
  • Identify and prioritise a/b and multivariate tests opportunities as well as analyzing the results
  • Work with the Head of Growth using data and competitor analysis to shape the Growth Strategy 
  • Work closely with the SEO Manager to identify acquisition opportunities based on organic traffic performance analysis
  • Produce forecasts and set targets based on sales data
  • Present actionable insights clearly and confidently to key teams and stakeholders at all levels

Skills & Competencies Required: 

  • Customer-first and data-led with a strong understanding of ecommerce analysis and best practice across a variety of channels
  • In-depth experience with Google Analytics, including data segmentation and creating custom and automated reports
  • Testing and experimentation working methodologies, including how to identify, design, run and analyse experiments 
  • Highly numerate with a good understanding of statistical principles and using regular expressions and forecasting
  • Strong understanding of marketing across a variety of channels including web, social, app, and SEO/SEM 
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, including formulas, pivot tables 
  • Excellent written and oral skills to communicate data and complex ideas to stakeholders with different levels of understanding
  • Committed to continuous learning and evolving with industry best practice
  • Experience working in an agile marketing environment and as part of project teams

  • You will be part of a newly formed team set to grow with a significant level of responsibility attached the project roadmap 
  • Start Date: Immediate
