OVERVIEW

About the Role:

As a Talent and Inclusion Manager, you will be responsible for finding and onboarding talent into the DRT family and managing the execution of our Diversity and Inclusion strategy.

You will be required to discover talent and ensure great relationships with both candidates and employees; developing talent acquisition strategies and hiring pipelines; responding to current staffing needs and facilitating the training of new hires. Additionally, you will be responsible for leading the Diversity and Inclusion steering committee in the efforts to meet our Diversity and Inclusion targets – including but not limited to regular meetings with senior management and generating reports. 

You will be joining our stellar Operations team, whose main purpose is to improve the commercial and logistical functionality and strategy of the business as a whole. To help create a platform for company growth through the implementation of great operations, marketing, social media, HR, sales support and administrative processes. The Talent and Inclusion Manager should be a person that shares the aims and objectives of our Diversity and Inclusion strategy to embed an inclusive culture in the recruitment industry.

Main Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition 

  • Identify, screen, interview and assess potential candidates for Digital Republic Talent
  • Help facilitate internal training and appraisal processes 
  • Ensure a clear and fair interview process 
  • Send contracts of employment for new starters organise and facilitate inductions 
  • Support company CSR initiatives ( charity runs and donations ) 

Employee Onboarding 

  • Manage all of the “onboarding” of new team members
  • Set-up HR profiles and additional platform accounts for new team members
  • Creating and manage an induction training schedule during new starters’ first three months in the business, in-line with our induction training plan 
  • Ensuring all new starts have a mentor/buddy and build a relationship with each new starter during their first 6 months in the business 
  • Proactively becoming the “go-to-person” for new starters and acting as a sounding board and “confidante” to all new members of our team as they settle into the business

Diversity and Inclusion

  • To conceptualize and execute, with the support of key stakeholders, plans to meet our diversity and inclusion targets
  • Monitor and report on the progress of projects
  • Identify and build potential business partnerships that align with our goals to make recruitment and our business more inclusive
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen policies in the business that align with the strategy to make DRT more inclusive and accessible
  • Promote our Diversity & Inclusion events and programs on social media and the recruitment community
  • Regularly meet with key stakeholders within the business to brief on KPIs and actions that fall in line with our strategy
  • Represent Digital Republic Talent as a brand and D&I ambassador at relevant industry events.

Experience/ Requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience in either Operations/Talent Management 12 months +
  • Strong  written and verbal communication skills  
  • Excellent organisation skills  and an attention to detail 
  • Strong internal and external stakeholder management skills 
  • Develop an understanding of D&I best practice, in-line with the Equality Act 2010
  • An aptitude for data and insights to drive success within talent acquisition and D&I
  • Ability to drive strategy whilst delivering day to day talent management & D&I work
  • Able to facilitate groups, build trust and utilise employee insights.
