OVERVIEW

Our clients are award-winning media winning media and one of the fastest-growing players in the U.S. These guys are truly one of the most in demand marketing agencies in the world right now and there’s hardly a hotter place to be in the market. We are currently looking for an ambitious VP of Media Strategy whose responsibilities will include overall strategy of the client services team as well as being a key negotiator in client contracts. This will include being a key presence in overseeing sales activity. With a unique business proposition and few to no competitors with a similar offer this is an outstanding opportunity to be part of a ground-breaking business.

Your Responsibilities

  • Oversee up-to 5 client accounts at a time, working with dedicated data scientist teams.
  • Shape the overall integrated media strategy 
  • Serve as senior contact on media buying for C-suite client contacts
  • Work closely with internal team that performs daily optimizations
  • Motivate team members and ensure clear understanding of the strategy and client expectations
  • Negotiate client contracts for media buying and manage account scope & profitability 
  • Ensure all deliverables meet our high standards for quality
  • Help us stay on the cutting edge and advise clients on market trends, new approaches
  • Help sell and close new business 

What are we looking for:

  • Ability to think strategically, analytically, and proactively about diverse business problems
  • Proven experience building relationships with clients
  • Ability to manage and be accountable for client satisfaction and retention
  • Superb communication, storytelling, and presentation skills
  • Passion for managing quality & accuracy
  • Experience working in a fast-paced – and a fast-growing – small company environment is a plus
  • 12 + years of media planning experience, including progressive client management experience 
  • In-depth understanding and knowledge of all media channels
  • Familiarity with data analytics and testing, measurement & attribution
  • Project and process management experience. Strong team, time & scope management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
